High crash streets
Bridlemile’s portion of Beaverton-Hillsdale Highway (B-H Hwy) is one of Portland’s 30 highest crash streets and intersections (source: Portland-gov - High Crash streets and intersections).
This B-H-Hwy portion of Portland’s and Bridlemile’s streets hosted Portland’s first radar speed camera system. The Portland Bureau of Transportation activated it on August 25, 2016. Within 30 days of it operating, the reported number of speedsters identified declined by 95%, from 1,417 per day to 72 per day. (Source: OregonLive, December 5, 2016).
Pedestrian crossings

The ones on B-H Highway have pedestrian activated buttons. The others do not.
